Three phone screens display an image editing app. The edited photo shows two people holding hands; the middle screen shows text input to remove background people, and the last screen shows those people removed from the image.

Generative AI is coming to Instagram Stories. Users will now be able to edit photos and videos by simply typing in a prompt. For example, in the image above where a group of people have been removed from the background.
