I always love watching steadicam footage.

Did you use a gyro or something for the ariel footage?

And for the shots around the skate park, I'm guessing you followed around to mimic a skateborders move? Really cool.

hey guys. Thanks for liking my work... always a delight.

I shot the waterfall with that intention in mind on 50fps 1/125 shutter and just reversed it in FCP7. I wanted something more visually intriguing to draw the audience to keep watching it.

There was no ariel footage. it was a merlin steadicam and i was walking on the cliff. I'm always an aggressive inline skater so i'm pretty at home on the ramps of skatepark, those shots was my very first shots on the merlin steadicam. it was my test footage. Thanks for watching. : )

Amazing control! I'm still struggling to set up and use my Merlin properly.

Yeah, it can be quite frustrating and u need to be really patient to do it properly. all the best with that, u can use my settings on i placed on the vimeo page and adjust from there. I bought a digital weighing scale and proper measuring tools to get it right. cheers.
