Memory cards at Changi Airport

I am flying out for business trip and am curious have anyone bought memory cards from the boarding area from those camera shops? Did a Google and most are old threads.

Will it be cheaper buying in Changi Airport or just the normal challenger stores etc.

If you can go to sim lim square, still cheapest to buy cards, at 4th and 5th floor stores.

Yeah, buy from the sim lim sq shops. For the price of a 16gb at changi, u prob can get a 32gb or even 64gb.
But make sure u get local sets eg sandisk ones should have a sticker with Vector Magnetics (local distributor)

I don't do 4K shooting nor high burst, so I really don't find any difference in both the Sony U3 card or 30mbps sandisk ultra cards... I guess if it's just casual shooting a sandisk ultra will do fine

Nothing is a fixed formula.

Ppl tell u to get from sim lim..yah, but have u consider yr time and transport cost to sim lim? U got time to go?

Sometimes buy from airport is better coz of convenience.

for sure there's a difference in speed of the U3 cards, but what I'm saying is for casual users like me, I don't feel the difference. So having a higher end card doesn't give me any benefit, for sports shooters or 4K video shooters, I guess yes, but not me.

I have bought cameras before in Kong Hong international airport(i suppose it applies to other airports) . The prices are at retail prices.

If you really want cheap cards, you can go to funan
