Hi all
I recently discovered this gem at my own house. A Mamiya Six medium format (the one with a Made in Occupied Japan :bigeyes
, does any seniors here have any experience with this medium format? Hope to learn and use it properly.
So far, I have already sent in this cam for overhaul recently, and it just came back, so I can't wait to pop in the film and shoot. Only problem is...My dad can barely remember how to open it when I myself first saw it, (he say it was a gift from my grandfather to him when he was still a child....that was almost 50 years ago manzzz, some more my grandfather picked it up from the pawn shop from what i heard....lol, nvr knew it would be a gem now)
I only learnt from the shop keeper how to at least see which dial and knob is for what purpose...Proper film loading wise and withdrawing film....not very sure abt it  (I do know I will be using a light meter again, lol)
I did however follow the shop keepers advice and got me an extra plastic empty sprool and some medium format film from konota.
I have some prior experience in 35mm film but this is beyond me already. Any guidance from the seniors? Point me in the right direction. Thanks
