Hi,

Looking for a Mamiya medium format, and am considering a Mamiya 645 because they seem to be mid-budget.

Anyone can help me out with the questions below please?

1. What's the difference between 645 Super & 645 Pro TL?

2. Is SGD 850 for a complete set of minty 645 Super (80mm f2.8 lens, prism, film back, and trigger) a reasonable price?

Appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks! :)

I'm letting go of my system. Drop you a PM.

haha.. I am the best person to answer this question...

I own both a SUPER and an PRO-TL.
The key difference is that PRO-TL has a self-timer, SUPER does not have.

SUPER is able to shoot without battery, but PRO-TL cannot.

well, price wise, its really difficult to tell. To someone, its a priceless piece of machine, but to another , he might not take it even at FOC.

Does the prism comes with metering? The price difference between a meter prism and a non-meter prism is a lot.

This is a very old machine. Do check and ensure that all functions are working nicely as they should. Its not difficult to check out the market price at ebay. All the parts you mentioned should be available there ( with pricing ).

good luck
Billy

Thanks guys. Btw I got the 645 Super in the end. :)
