Malaysia's Digital Camera - Only RM8 !!

If u happen to be in Malaysia, do pick up a copy of Digital Camera. I think it is a Malaysia version of a Bristish magazine. Only RM8. Great value!

I just hope the magazine from Singapore can be of this sort of standard in terms of layout, pictures and substance.

Its great mag..bought one some months ago..lots of ps tips, photography tips and photography related articles..not like photovideo i..

Indeed I have been disappointed with Photovideo i as well... its fine if it were still free, but for that price I don't feel its good value.

Some UK magazine they have Malaysian version as they believe there will be a larger circulation there. Singapore too small a market they think.

130 glossy pages with many nice photos and great articles.
They even throw in a free CD.
RM8 really cheap! Don't know how they earn.....


BTW, Singapore one really cannot make it.... nothing much to read... its only ninch is the organising and reporting of local events... articles too superfical and usually come from the same few handful of writers... no wow photos...

Also not many shops selling the local magazine... ntuc used to sell it but after two months dont see it anymore....

Yep. I got a copy some time back too. A very good read I have to say. Not just the crazy value for such a price... $3 bux plus, full gloss, very very good prints, CD, tips... I try to get it whenever i go jb.

Give the local publication a chance to improve....overhead is high here, but I feel John and company are trying...without support, the quality will go down further, its a vicious cycle, perhaps feedback and suggestions might help them deliver better stuff.

No, actually they are written in martian language!!! Of course in English la!!! It's titled Digital Camera. If it's in Malay, it would be Kamera Digital....;p

Opps, I wouldnt know as I thought it might be a local(Malaysian) version of the UK magazine, just like there are numerous version of FHM magazine, even Chinese version in Taiwan and such...

Much agreed that this is a value for money magazine for only RM8. Got a Feb copy when I went to JB but unfortanately unable to find selling at local new stand or bookshop...sigh...

Hope the local photography book shop able to bring in, I'm sure it would be selling like hot cakes...about S$3.50.

They do not allow subscription outside of Malaysia, which is a pity. I was kinda disappointed with this, as there are other magazines which can do delivery to other countries.

Got the June 06 version, which has been in my hands everytime I..., without fail

Just got my copy in KL - came with a free pack of 25x4R Sepom double sided photo paper which is RM9.90 RRP (of course it is worth less than that) but good value. Reviews are done by Arthur Bleich (US) - they didn't even edit the camera name - Rebel XT instead of 350D.

Can't go wrong for RM8.

If someone can bulk order from JV 50 copies a month and sell for S$5 subscription I think it will sell.
