M8 back to Solms

I just bought a used M8 only to discover that it has a vertical line problem and had sent it back to Solms. Schmidt said it takes appropriately 14weeks - does anyone has any past experience if it really does take 14 weeks? ...was just getting the hang of using iit ...

You can offer to pay for the freight back to shorten waiting time. It took 6 weeks for my lens to make round trip.

Depending on the workload at Solms, it could take longer than 14 weeks, but I am sure you will be happy with the end result.
