Drop by lower pierce reservoir today, and had shot some assorted insects, and a flying lizard. Found another new Jumping Spider I never seen before....but will post in another thread.

FZ10+Raynox 250, F8, 1/60s, ISO50, 2 diffuse flash, handheld

#1: Blue spotted Cricket
Young fella as the wings are still not fully developed

I love the flying lizard. Face reminds me of Smeagol. ;)

Your lens had helped us take a closer look at these creatures,
which we seldom bother to take a look at in the nature.

What is #4? A caterpiller or certain kind of insect? Very interesting angle of an interesting bug.

#4 is a caterpillar....crossing over the railing edge.


Lower Pierce is full of wierd insects and bugs. Try the night time macros. You will see more strange insects. Love the "baby" cricket. so cute.

Thanks. I think they are all around....I usually walk to and fro on the boardwalk.
