Lost Directory For Nikon Gear

I know that there is a main directory for lost equipment.

But I am starting one for Nikon, so that it is more focus.

For members who bought or are buying any second hand equipment might want to look into this thread to ensure that you do not land up buying any stolen/lost Nikon items.

Do not OT or Post other comments apart from here reporting lost items - Nikon brand

Hi fellow clubsnap members,

this is a message regarding a stolen set of D300 with S/no. 6009278. This set has already been reported stolen to the police and the police are looking for it. The set was allegedly sold at one of the 2nd hand Peninsula shops between 21 Dec 09 to 23 Dec 09 (last monday to wednesday) Nikon Service Centre and all the 2nd hand camera shops in Singapore have been notified about the stolen set and s/no.

If you have bought the camera set in question, please contact us at 82237153 immediately to see how we can work out a settlement. We have proper police documentation for you to verify. Alternatively, you can also go to the police straight with the set, ( but no settlement). We have notified all the shops in Singapore, however it is still unclear whether the shop sold the camera knowing it is a reported lost set (loot).

If you do know of any friend that had just acquired a 2nd hand D300 set from Peninsula area, please do let them know and ask them to check the S/no. You will be doing them and us a great favor. So that they wont be in shock when they find themselves questioned at Nikon Service Centre.

A stolen D300 has been stolen and sold to someone. If you are the buyer and holding on to a D300 with serial number 6015914, 17-55mm Lens serial number 2098805, MB d10 Serial number 214295 please contact me as a reward will be given to you. The most important is the memory card. Or if not you can contact your local authorities as the police are looking for it. The culprit is already in police custody so its a matter of time before they contact you and may i warn you failing to report it is an offence and you will be prosecuted as well.

Anyway, police report have been made both in Switzerland and in Singapore. Will will be releasing the serial numbers to Nikon Worldwide as well.

I left a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 vii at Downtown East D' Marquee on 10th May 2016 evening. I went back to search for it but to no avail. It belongs to my friend and now I have to save up $2k+ to get back one for him and it was a gift from his Fiance during his 21st birthday. :/

The lens's serial number is: 20077754
