posting this on behalf of my school -

we are currently sourcing for vendors/training institutions/trainers who have experience in training students (JC age) on photography, videography and journalism writing, and in helping students develop a portfolio of works in these 3 areas for possible submission to university/work purposes. this is a 1 year committment to train a group of students (roughly 50pax) so that they are equipped with the skills to become the photo/video journalists for school events. we are looking to start the training in the middle of March, after the 1 week term break.

if anyone is interested, kindly PM me with your email and hp for more details as i will have to correspond with you officially via email (part of the auditing process for MOE). please note:

a) you will need to have access to GeBIZ, as the eventual ITQ will be posted there for you to officially submit your tender

b) you need to have a detailed programme. please do not contact me if you do not have a programme.

c) the training frequency is 2x a week (wed and fri) in the afternoons. the trainers will solely be in-charge of executing the programme. the school teachers-in-charge are present only for admin support.

d) my school is not well-equipped in these areas because it is still new. hence, we have only a couple of DSLRs and, mainly, prosumers.

TIA! :)

Hi I have PMed you in regards to photography.

This course...is it a Pass/Fail course or everyone is certified gone through the course?

These 50, are they commited or simply signed up for the course for the heck of it? These 50, have they been confirmed or can the trainer interview them first?

they are students of the school... meaning, if they don't turn up for the training, the school will make them pay for the course.

anyway, we are in the midst of selecting our trainer. thread closed and thanks for the responses. :)
