Looking for Rodinal

Anyone know of any place that still have stock of Rodinal? Kinda upset with the results Ilfosol I'm currently using...

Am open to suggestions for other developing chemical as well. I shoot HP5+ mostly...

What wrong with HP5 and ifordsol ? Rodinal has a higher apperence of grain and snappy apperence on sharpness - which may or may not be what you are after. Iford films tend to be a little less snappy on contrast so there has to be some adjustment on exposure & choice of lighting and development to get a neg that grade 2 printable.

By the way, you are right. There's absolutely nothing wrong with using HP5 and ilfosol. But I guess it's ultimately a matter of preference. I personally feel that Ilfosol doesn't give the results I'm looking for as compared to those I'd used with Rodinal. Don't really know whether it's the differences in contrast due to the chemicals or due to my own technical incapability. :embrass:

Does Konota still carry anymore chemicals? I used to get my Rodinal from Nelson, when he was still at Konota. Don't know where he'd move to now...

Cathy brings in Afga chemical as well, but it might be after e CNY for stock to come in.

U can get the Rodinalfrom the photo shop at Robinson road. It's beside the SIA building, within the Singapore Post office outlet. They stored the Rodinal at the chiller there. Last saw it 2 days ago, they still have 4 small bottle.

Trix + Rodinal abit too gritty for my liking..

i get nicer grain with Tmax developer.
