Yeah, agreed. What matters is the lens, NOT the camera body... Even if you have a 1DS but have a crappy lens, your images won't be as good as when you have a Canon 350D and a stunning lens.

agreed big time! lenses are way more important :)

Wah lau...

The rates... ALAMAK, seriously it cant be true... If so, these rates cant even hire my students.

Just another thread looking for cheap photographers. :thumbsd:

Give this guy a break. I think the rates are fair, and if you're not very experienced, $30/hr is alot. Tell that to guys who started at $15/hr and now doing well at higher rates. They are grateful they started humble.

Hah? Body not important, wait till you see the performance difference between a 7D and 550D, or maybe a D300 vs D90.

Not only is AF reliability EXTREMELY important, you will kick yourself in your face when you need high FPS or when your most important shot got screwed because of sucky AF. It's okay, in time, experience will teach a painful lesson.

Bro,

Can I be your photographer. But for the fee can I use a compact camera:bigeyes:

i think your rate is really a bit low , will be better if you can increase the rate per hrs :)

Well, take a look at this:

NO sticky AF, and its shot with my 400D and a high quality bazooka, the EF 100-400mm IS USM...

For such a demanding criteria, the price is waaaay too low... Factor in the "what if"/insurance scenarios, its just waaaay too small...

With all the equipment, the rates should be at least $100per hour...
