Looking for Fast ( aim and Shoot type)

Anyone know which Digital camera , those aim and shoot type can
able to take a next few shots without waiting.
DSLR don't have this problem.

My history:
I used to have Digital aimandshoot type. I gave up because the
it take their own sweet time saving into memory. and their focus is
very slow. (that was 2 years ago)

My brother asking me for aim and shoot type. I don't wish to disappointed him. But i don't keep update on this kind of camera.
If no want suggest, i will try to tell him Leica Digilux 1.
Pls don't misunderstand, maybe it have same problem because i
didn't try or test it before. Because i think that Leica is expensive
camera and should not have this low buffer memory.
But i know Leica Digilux 2 is coming out soon....
Any suggestion

I know.... Nikon D1H, D2H and Canon 1D - they made excellent P&S as well, just a bit big. ;p

i have tried the Casio 4MP camera, can't remember which model...but the zoom and shutter lag is quite good, claimed to be the fastest among all P&S digicam

What about Minolta DiMAGE A1
Because it had Images stabilization.
my brother took picture of me, 90% is blur
even under the sun but with shadow tree.
Maybe cannot used to the heavy machine!

Does anyone own the camera? how the autofoucs
and the speed of recording... hope it can take next shot
withtin 1 sec

Both the Minolta A1 and Sony 828 is currently the fastest in focusing among the proconsumer range. But IMHO their abit big and extreme to be use as a point and shoot.
