anyone ever picked up a publisher who would do a photobook deal?

thinking taschen et al, etc?

indeed, the whole photobook thing is very very popular in the west. you can just do your own ones online for a not much money.
self publishing, or so called publish-on-demand [lulu.com] is also popular - but sometimes also called vanity publishing and the bookstores wont touch you with a bargepole [bar exceptions], but an interesting way to go.
