Looking for cheap shoulder mount Video Camera

Hi there, Im looking for cheap shoulder mount video camera. My Budget is only about 1.5-2k and so far the best offer I can find is a Panasonic NV-MD10000 which cost about 1.4k from DealUSeak. Is this video camera good? I cant find any reviews on it and the model dates back to 2006.

Anyone have other cheap recommandation. I do not need HD, just clear standard output that can work under indoor lighting. Using this for a project so do help me out. Thanks in advance!

If it is for a one time project, it is better to rent a good cam e.g. PD150/170 or DVX102
That cam you mentioned above is very light with alot of plastics.
It looks pro but not pro video quality.

The image quality is similar to GS400 or GS500, both are consumer cams.
Just my humble opinion.

Very puzzled why anyone will want a cheap shoulder mount camera.

A 1.5k - 2k camera shoulder mount camera will almost definitely perform horribly compared to even a DSR-PD150P or Panasonic DVX which cost 2 - 3 times more and easily available. The quality of this kinda cheapo shoulder-mounts are laughable...the last time I saw someone operate these was in a regional third world country.

You'll also be more limited in the way the camera can be handled, and its also so much more filmsy to operate than a PD or DVX...basically it just looks plain silly.

Having a shoulder mount camera doesn't make you look more pro, unless you're using a full professional camera costing 10k - 100k upwards...otherwise when PD/DVX users see you, they will most likely :bsmilie:

a good horse I will say ....

dv 200p will sell u at 2k with the battery pack and 3 batteries

with tapes also with i dun used

have tried still working

the camera is low usage but have not been used for quite some time

need to send for maintenance urselfs

if ur are interest can considered

the new version should be 250p will check later if U are interested
