As stated that this is a part time job and the pay is $80 per-day.

So, how many working hours need to be done for 1 day?

We do not have a FIXED working hour, but one day would consist of 12hours plus minus depending on the day's schedule.

If it is not your cup of tea, please move on.

Thank you.

Please have some basic respect for professional freelance camera operators. the rate is simply too low. It's people like you that is destroying the media industry. If you can't quote properly to you clients. I advise you to quit this industry.

And i hope no professional camera operators take your job up. Cause it's simply an insult to our occupation.

TS is trying to avoid the word "student" or "fresh" videographers. Students will take up the job regardless the pay, thinking "Good experience" is okay. Singapore's media industry has already been tainted by others long ago. Just that some people chose to make it worse.

WORDDDDD

in any kind of business, do not compete with price, there always somebody will be cheaper then you,
you can't kill your competitors with dirt cheap pricing, your business will be doomed once you run out of resources.
nobody can sustain their business in such throat cutting price anyway, trying to kill each others but in the end you will be kill by new comers who follow your footsteps.
btw, your competitors are your allies, you will understand this only when you are in the business long enough.

there is a big different between "charging right but not getting enough jobs" and "getting many business but not charging enough".

for the "charging right but not getting enough jobs", you are not losing money for every jobs you do, and that is temporary, once you have enough clientèle, your business will pick up.

but for "getting many business but not charging enough", you are making loses for every jobs you do, no matter how long you endure, you will be broke, burnt out and eventually quit.

The only way to change your destiny is to charge it right, you will lose some clients for sure, but you won't miss them, once you know there are some clients who value your services and always come back to you.

from the log in history, TS has not be log in for sometime, my post is not meant for her, but to anyone who are keen to build a career in this industry.
