Looking for a lcd view finder

got budget, go for the Z-Finder or DP4.

hmm after looking at it i think z-finder isnt cheap either ;( maybe i'll get this as i look thru the review on this this have low angle shoot maybe will be useful in future

I am new to Video although i have been taking photos for some time.

When i switched to video. i went through the same process. I used a few including GSS/ Swivel LCD viewfinder. However the problem was when you forget the LCD is strapped to your neck, the sudden pull tears the LCD vew finder apart.

Nowadays i just used the cheap china made lcd view finder.

Works for me.

thanks so much i'll look at it ... i'm also looking at motorist slider so far i can only find Varavon slider in the market and the price is quite affordable. Do you guys have other brand that u know of ?

I'm looking at http://www.vediamod.com/collections...-motorized-kit-l1000-slidecam-lite-1000-100cm .. an 80cm slider with motorise system .. saw alot review online and it seems quite affordable and reasonable price. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvuGxtlq8LE

Motorised slider comes in two flavors. The cheaper ones are just motors that rotate very slowly, like an egg timer. The slide does not pause once you start the motor. This is not suitable for night time shooting in bulb mode as you will get smearing.
The best timelapse sliders (http://www.dynamicperception.com/) are those that integrates shutter control with sliding motion. The sequence is: expose- slide-pause-expose-slide.pause... The camera is perfectly still during the exposure time giving you pin sharp frames.
For day photography, you may get away the former.

ohhh, but this thing is kind of too huge to carry around ;( i'm looking for a smaller slider with time lapse function ... while searching online i saw something simliar https://vimeo.com/63785434 . this seems much easier to bring around.. is anyone here using that now???

I am using the 60 cm Konova. But only the slider. Still havent bought the motor cause i dont know what they are trying to say/ sell on their website. haha:bsmilie:

From the video, the timeroid (horrible name!) looks like it can trigger the shutter of the Canon. Check the specs for support of other camera brands.

Yes basically it used the cables for those remote shutters
