Looking for a Camcorder

Firstly, I would like to say why I am looking for a video camcorder. Other than using it in events, I am a Youtube gamer, and I mainly post videos of portable consoles on the website. But the cameraI'm currently using, which is the Fujifilm Finepix JX300, have no manual settings in video mode (it's a digital camera, yes), so it will always auto adjust its focus and lighting every time the screen fades to a black screen or vice versa.

What I'm looking for in a camcorder is to have manual configuration, so I don't have to worry about the lighting and focus. I'm also looking into a HD recording capability, and would not mind HDD or SD card as recording memory. I have a budget of roughly around $200, and I know that good camcorders cost more than that.

I have been doing a bit of research, but being new to camcorders and not wanting to buy the wrong camcorder, I would like to ask everyone here for advise.

I appreciate every help I get in advance. :)

You should just invest in a USB dongle to convert the AV output of the console to a digital video on your PC. Its is SD quality but it won't even cost $50 at simlim.

Unfortunately, I'm talking about the 3DS, so there's no way to record directly like you said.
