This items violated existing patent in US and can be bought only outside the states.
It's a recorder for lav mic. You can use it as safety recorder for your G3 wireless lav.
Tascam DR-10c does the same but is even smaller and has a LCD screen.

Thanks for the share from cheesy cam. I finally 'get' what it does. It's a recorder that allows an easier sync in post and NOT a wireless transmitter that replaces Sennheiser G3 for etc.
