Lightroom - Import photo quality

hi guys,

i'm having a small problem wif importing the Photos from disk. in the sense that whatever photo i import, its appeared in lightroom in a more saturated and darker colors than i view it directly from the 'window picture viewer' .
Hmm.. y is that so?? thks in advance for all your comments n tips...

it could be both using different color system. :dunno:
was your screen calibrated what was your lightroom default color system?

hey thks for replying... hmmm.. i din set my color setting on either one of them leh.. how do i go abt doing it?

I guess u must have imported jpegs. My jpegs look awful in lightroom so i took the easy way out by viewing jpegs in bridge.
