Lexar so cheap in US

$55 rebate? what a joke. I envy the US people. they can get them so cheap. D300 is certified with lexar and sandisk. I have 1 sandisk. Want to try lexar this time. so many fake sandisks. I am safer with lexar if buying online anybody has relatives there in US that can buy for us ;p postage must be cheap rite. memory card is small and light.

I gave up on Lexar couple of years back. Lost quite a number of photos due to corruption in the cards bundled with D70s.

there are fake lexars around as well... the best idea is still to buy from trustworthy shops whether online or "brick and mortar"...

edit: not to say everyone/anyone selling cheap is fake... just trying to say be safe
