I got mine from B&H some time back, abt US$49-59-ish? can't remember exactly.

Got mine from Alan Photo SLS quite a while ago. S$60+ IIRC. They don't sell it anymore though. Covergent supposedly carries it but upon calling them, they don't hold stock and you need to indent it from them. =^/

thanks for e responses, i'll try my luck with convergent systems ;)

i got mine for east gear last time.

if u have a firewire port, do consider getting the lexar firewire reader. Its almost as fast as the card bus reader. Most laptops are moving on to pc-card express now so i think the old card bus might be out of production.

Firewire and cardbus don't seem that fast anymore with the newer breed of USB2 card readers. Don't believe me? Check out some of the usb2.0 card readers benchmarked by Rob Galbraith (http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=6007-8462), they totally kill their firewire and cardbus counterparts. I recently bought the transcend usb2.0 multicard reader and it is indeed MUCH faster than my old usb2.0 reader and even my lexar cardbus CF reader. I really did manage to get 16mb/s with the reader and my transcend 2gb 120x CF card.

oh, e main reason why i would rather have a cardbus is that i don't have to carry an additional device (usb reader).

I got mine from amazon previously, shipped using vpost
