Lens not mounting

Hi all!!

I wanted to ask if any of you have faced similar issues to mine. I was trying out an mp today and whilst the seller had a bokeh king with him as well my own bokeh king. His was able to mount while mine wasnt.

Making simple it's not about just these lenses being the same but have any of you faced issues trying to mount lenses and anyway you managed to rectify it?

I can assure you my lens is able to mount on a m8 and m7.

It will be helpful to describe what you mean by "not mounting"

Cannot go into the hole?

Can go into hole but cannot turn?

Can do all above but cannot lock?

Can do all above but cannot focus?

Sorry its the second one. Fits into the mount. But does not turn or lock

It has happened to me before, but with a Voigtlander LTM-M mount adapter and not an actual Leica lens.

I suggest you check you mount to see if there's any kind of bent metal.

Try mounting the lens when set to 1m or at infinity. Probably the focusing cam is giving issues.

Had tried the methods recommended had managed to fit other lenses but the 35 cron bokeh king. I guess it happens to others sometimes as well.

If its the last one then how ah? Mounts perfectly but cant focus.
