Lens Malfunction...??

Great inputs fatigue..

Yup...the front cosmetic ring is the key to all the insides.
Last time I opened the 50mm lens front cosmetic ring is by using the rubber tip of the crutches....

For the large diameter you could try wrapping a jar with a rubber swimming cap...

Finally the lens returned after sitting at SSC for 3+wks. Cost $60 to clean... Quite bad experience. First they were hesitant to repair cos there are no more spares avail worldwide. Then keep delaying and giving excuses of tech goin leave and mc. Went over to SSC and counter staff were lying juz to patronise me... Till I have to expose them when I explained my tel conversation with their tech earlier in the week.
