lens made in M'sia?

was cleaning the barrel of my lenses when I noticed that both lenses for my Dynax 5 were made in Malaysia

the camera body was made in Japan

how does a lens made in M'sia come to be packaged with body made in Japan?

also, made in Malaysia means lower quality lens? or just that they're manufacturing is done there?

Ever hard that BMW will be made in China???.....well a Made in Where location does not relly mean much these days.......
Cost is the driving factor.

If the product is badly designed.......even if its made in US,JAPAN,UK or other places touted as "Superior" locations the product will still be bad.
