Just bought one, can't wait to get it!

Believe me u wont regret it . Incredibly fast lens . Very bright . A tad large compared to the lux but the bokeh is lovely . Good all the way to f11 too . I still love the manual rangefinder focussing . Maybe a bit slow but very precise

Challenging to use on M9. Good for M240 wif focus assist n LV.

Agreed ! Takes a bit more time to focus on the 9 but satisfying results nonetheless . My autofocus canon 5D gets more shots in but that's a different game altogether

Not an apple to apple comparison. Haha. RF is a slow n enjoyable experience.

Yes, it is big, heavy and it focuses slowly but it does take some getting used to nailing focus wide open. But when you have it in focus, the images are amazing. Just to share a shot taken wide open. And if you think it performs nicely on the Leica M, try it on the Leica MM - it really shines :)

Yup the Leica MM is the Leica Monochrom and I feel that the NoctiLust (Pun intended) coupled with the MM is a really gorgeous setup. Here are a sample taken from a friend who wanted to test out the NoctiLust and is now seriously poisoned. Shot at ISO3200 f0.95 wide open and on the MM you push very easily to ISO6400 and still have a very decent noise structure.

Ha tks nw I am a monochrome semi convert. .lovely shot . But somehow still like the leica colors . Maybe sometime in the future ...

Ah so ! Not quite there yet. Still messing with colors

MM wif Noc. U can virtually shoot wif just a candle light in d dark situation as d MM iso performance is impressive.

Noise on the Monochrome is actually very pleasant, almost like film grain. Even at max ISO of 10000, it is still very usable.

Precisely. Max 6400 on d M n noise can b quite distracting.

Agreed! Though the NoctiLust really excels for low light work, it does work nicely for bright outdoor days as well - just slapped on an appropriate ND filter and you are set to go.

The attached link are some from a previous post (careful on clicking through the link as it features nudity) of images that are mostly shot with the NoctiLust
