lol, the general sentiments amongst the leica community on the internet is one of extreme disappointment that Leica did not release any substantively new product.

Instead, most of the new products are cosmetic / color differences only.

M9 in titanium (camera that is not intended for use!)
X1 in black
Dlux 5 (expected)
Vlux 2 (ok I suppose this is new...)

Hopefully, got some more new announcement.

I wanna see 4/3 system from leica ( EVIL camera to beat NEX5 ) as well and hope for maybe some upgrade for X1 black edition ie. auto focus speed

anyway thanks for info

The problem with Leica is that they are so small compared to the other manufacturers that it is almost unreasonable to expect them to come out with something new so often.

The Panasonic partnership, which has made by Panasonic to Leica specifications glass allows them to deal with the mass market. But anything more really requires more time.

I was hoping for a R solution. But it appears, there is none. I guess R users will have to look for R solution elsewhere. Even though I have adapted my R lenses with the Sony alpha mounts, I was hoping Leica will provide a new platfrom for these legacy lenses.

has leica shown all their products yet? hmm... photokina hasn't even started yet. it starts on 21st and now is just 5am there.

steve huff have indicated that there will be a new leica system announced and i see no reason for this to be different given that they have a solid relationship with leica.

the leica presentation for has apparently ended.

Not sure if there will be another leica presentation in the days to come.
