leica m8/9 jog dial --> not easy to turn?

hi guys, realised that the digital M jog dial at the back (next to screen) is not easy to turn if you are pressing it perpendicularly?

I realise if u have a zhou case or luigi case, u can't scroll it from the side, and instead need to press down on it perpendicuarly to turn. and its quite difficult to do so..

its so annoying that now i dun bother with the zhou case, so i can scroll the dial from the side (instead of perpendicular down).

is it just me?

Even scrolling from the side, mine's is easy going clockwise, counter-clockwise not so. Most of the time I just use the arrows buttons instead lah.

send for leica services and ask them to lube it

my M9 the wheel is okay lah. I use my thumb and it usually moves either way ok.

I do not use any half case for my M9 though.
