Hi buggy you may want to consider the not as vintage nikon rfs s range with the spectular Nikkor 50/1.4, won't burn a hole in your pocket and pretty much the same shooting experience as the iii series, a little simpler though...

I agree... the Nikon S is a superb built RF, I personally think, I stress, PERSONALLY THINK, that is much better built than the modern day Leica cameras.

Coupled with the 50/f1.4, it's a perfect combination for portraiture shot wide open.

I  Nikon RF

nikon rf's cheaper than barnacks? thought these are highly collectible, priced as high or exceeding even leica M cameras..

Hi hookonclassic, Srono and dankwan,

Thank you again for the advise, i checked ebay a short while ago and there are alot of choices for all these vintage cameras from different manufacturers. But will need to be careful though since I am not seeing the actual cameras just photos. Will take my time and hunt for a good bargain. ;p :sweatsm:

You may want to check out Keh, they do have a few pieces on sale.

got me a mint S2 for S$700......;)

That's correct :)

Have bought stuff from them and they are very reliable so far. Got my items within three to five working days.

But do note that for purchases above S$400 (including shipping), you will generally have to pay GST.
