Actually, it is not chrome but silver anodized, meaning it's made of aluminum instead of brass. Thus weight wise, it is the same as the black version.
Here is one with the silver "12466" hood

or use without hood but with silver lens cap instead

It's silver anodized not chrome brass thus the same weight.

Nice!!!! Some very rare accessories here! I believe so rare that they may cost as much as, if not more than, my M7!!!!
