MORE PICS
Pardon the quickie processing...:embrass:

Hello there

I rushed to Ann Siang and when I got there, i slipped my mind to call for u

Thanks for showing us the pic.

they r beautiful!

Pic3 of Janice gets my vote =)

The simplicity kills me =P

Hi Leejay,

I'm a total sucker for models with large, sparkling eyes ;)

Here's some C&C from me, do take it with a grain (or two) of salt as always:

Photo #1: Some girls have a rather pronounced forehead which may take attention away from the eyes, which is what I find the case here. The situation can be remedied by having her hair cover part of the forehead. Because she tied her hair back, this makes the forehead unflatteringly pronounced. Another nitpick is the dressing. I personally don't fancy models who come in singlets unless the shoot setting calls for it. The location is club street area (near Scarlet hotel)? Somehow her dressing doesn't blend in with the setting.

Photo #2: Love her eyes!!! The classy look is complimented by the pendent, the circular ear rings and a nice top. However, her expression looks rather tense, almost forced to smile. Was she holding this pose too long? She has such beautiful eyes, and would be best to let her relax a little if she looks tense. When I detect my models getting tired holding the same pose too long, I let them relax for a while, like asking them to close their eyes, relax the limbs, etc., and let them re-pose afresh.

Photo #3: You're not going to like this particular critique. This is the weakest shot of the lot. Firstly, there's literally no sparkle to her eyes (no catch lights). This kills the picture D.O.A. I understand you didn't have time for DI, but I recommend processing the eyes separately from the rest of the image to handle the levels. Do let us see this pic again after DI. Secondly, she has a rather round face, which does not work in her favour when taken frontal.

Cheers!

NICE! Lee Jay always have an eye for composition! =)

Hopefully my work will be 50% of his =x

Will pose mine up soon. Be kind with the comments yar?

Photo 1: Claudia looks better with her hair down but unfortunately she had already gelled her hair and letting the hair loose is not possible.

Photo 2: Being the most lively of the 3, photog gave her no time to rest :bsmilie:

Photo 3: Janice has a very cool look in person and on that day she was not in the best of form. Her expression that day was somewhat nonchalant giving a kind of snob look which I like. Janice doenst have a round face. This pic is most prob due to positioning the lens too close to the face.

I rarely join any group foto shoots for the simple reasons that photog do not have any way to convey what kind of clothes the model to bring; change of clothes ( in this case there was no change at all ) and importantly convey to the models to have a good sleep b4 the shoot.

A couple of things I want to "congratulate" Leejay...

Firstly, I expected a barrage of images as he has done in the past, and I was surprised. Thanks Leejay for selective posting.

Secondly, your shooting and composition is getting better. I really like what you have done for Janice and Drusilla. There is much improvement in your shooting. You are getting the hang of things.

Lastly, I seriously suggest you pick up more books on Photoshop or attend classes and develop and eye for post work... you are getting there, but yet, you still tend to over process (sharpening) a little.

More pics? :)

jeff: :) Hehe, no prob man. I was scared like heck when it was raining that morning. ^^

ykgen: Thanks, bro! ^^

asidbyrne: Yeah, I quite like it too! Thank you, bro~ ^^

Ah Gun: Hehe, yep, agree with you that the third pic is weak (but I don't know why I love it). Thanks for your valuable tips and comments. ^^ I'll redo the DI~

raincool: ^^ Thank you, bro~ Glad to know that you enjoyed the shoot too~

Prataz: Thanks, bro~ LOL...I'm always kind with comments! Pls post yours up soon!

ramboo24 (nick inspired by 'Rambo' or 'Rambutan'? ^^): It was not intentional. Accidental. :p Thanks man!

jeff: Yep, what you said are true. I was also surprised to see Claudia's hair buckled up, but then it is always a challenge
to shoot under different circumstances. ^^

Final appraisal:
Claudia: sweet
Drusilla: interactive
Janice: sweet and icy

Heheh ^^

micro: Thanks, bro, for the encouragement. Yep, I will go get some more good books and improve myself. You're always so sweet. ^^

LAN: Um...28-135mm, f5.6, 1/200, ISO800, zoom to the max. :p

vince: Sure! :) Thanks, big bro~

all 3 shots are good. #1, the signboard of the company is distracting. #2, very natural and nice, one comment - her eyeliner seems to prominent. #3, nicest of the lot i feel, however, looks a bit pixelated.

the second pic is my fav.

up for leejay!
