Kudos to EastGear

I bought a Ripvan charger and few batteries from EastGear less than a month ago.

After 3 weeks, I realise that the charger is running in a very weird cycle. After the battery is fully charged, the charger starts the discharging function.

I explained the situation to BigBelly on the phone, and went to the shop last night.

What I would have expected :
EastGear would keep the charger for 1-2 days, to test whether it is faulty. Then only decide whether to replace/repair the set.

But that's not the case at all. Indeed, Bigbelly said that he could recognise me that I just bought the charger not long ago, and without even tested out the charger, he fully took my explanation. He apologized for the hassle and replaced a new Ripvan charger for me without any question asked.

The new Ripvan set is with US plug-in. Bigbelly gave me the adapter for free as well. I am totally amazed and surprised with their good service.

I would hang myself if I would go to any other shops to buy battery and charger in futures.

the charger that EastGear sells are quite a good one indeed.

sometimes, there might be a set or 2 that are faulty. That's why it is given a 1 to 1 exchange policy.

I have purchase a color printer from Eastgear but found it faulty and was replaced immediately without hassle. However we got onto our knees and subsequently discovered that a faulty set was delivered to Eastgear.

The services Eastgear rendered to me is beyond question and doubt and I will continue to purchase from them. :thumbsup:

their prices are reasonable, good even, but that's not wat we are discussing here.

It is not a promotion, it is an appreciation of their service.
