I think they will still sell the CCD, they still need the volume, the bigger the volume the lower the price of CCD/CMOS. It's just a matter of how much will they charge other competitors.

poor pple who had to rely on them for CCDs.. they'll sell , but i think more advance technology will of course be release to ownself first...

Let's hope Sony does a good job, and you know... maybe I should hold myself back from buying a car, I'll rather walk with a camera than get stuck in traffic looking at the tail lights of the car infront of me...

Whatever for? U simply cannot power a cell processor with lithium ion batteries... and besides, u are probably looking at a 100 MP sensor size which would translate to large format digital... u need a 20GB HDD attached to the camera... :bsmilie:
