kiev 88cm medium format camera - who is a relaible seller?

thinking to buy a kiev 88 cm

i found 3 places

1. arax - Arax Photo | Upgraded russian medium format KIEV cameras, lenses, accessories. usd555

2. Welcome to the KIEV/USA Website usd 475

3. ebay - managed to find one at usd 469

3. Kiev 88 CM TTL/SPOT MLU medium camera full set in box,NEW CLA,adjusted by Hartblei - Russian Cameras - usd 429 - cheapest!!!

all claimed to have hartblei technician to have CLA the cameras.. but only 1 and 2 is offering warranty.

pls advice on which one to go as it is known that kiev MF camera break down easily.. although they say 88 CM is better, but not sure if they still need reworks...

With the price you are looking at, you can get a decent Hasselblad 500c.

agree with both hands and feet! simply not worth it getting the kiev. i had one before... it DOAed

tks so much for sharing your views.. i will reconsider..

almost rushed into it.. bought a czj 180mm lens on ebay 2 days ago.. which is a p6 mount, but seller wants me to own all responsibility.. as he has no idea whether the lens is working or not etc... but he allows me to back off..

must really change this habit of rushing into things.. sigh..
