I agree that it's a place of haven and tranquility. I was there a few weeks ago just before it was announced that its going to be closed for military use.

this place has been designated as military area many yr ago, and they are reinforcing "no unauthorise entry" recently.

we are running out of places like this, apart from ubin, this is a closer alternative. in the name of development and limited land area, they could do anything they want.

It has always been semi-open to the public during wkends if i'm not wrong.
Only recently, SAF announced that they are taking back the land there;the 'civilian' part.
