Helping a fren to sell this HDV full size shoulder mount JVC GY HD111E camcorder.
interchangable lens, upgraded to 20x fujinon.
adaptor converted to 1/2 inch CCD
with 5 x Batt and a charger.
bought at abt $14K less then a year.
looking to sell at $9K++
any interested party can let me know.

Hi sundazz. If I'm not mistaken, this cam has 1/3 inch CCDs. How is it possible to convert to 1/2 inch CCDs? Sounds very interesting.

above is the link of how the cam looks like.. it is similar to 110E.
i think 111E is a firmware upgraded.. tho i cant be sure.

I think he meant convert to 1/2 inch CCD's fujinon zoom lens. Most fujinon lens is for 1/2 inch CCD camcorder.

The cam is still only at HDV, not ProHD yet. It's about 3 grades down. Did you consider the Panasonic P2 series of cmas like HVX202? With a firestore, you are in business for real HD stuff.

Hi tommon. Yes the HD111 is HDV, but it's also ProHD (whatever that means), which seems to be a term that JVC started using when they released this family of camcorders. Not sure how you assess there are 3 grades of difference.

By the way, the HVX HD format is called something like DVCPRO HD.

i think there is always pros and cons for every equip.. all depends on individual needs.
HD or HDV asides.. the advantage of this cam is the lens is changable and full isze camcorder.

anyway i am just helping my fren selling tis cam..

Actually, i am more confortable with pana or sony..
if for myself.. 202 is a good cam which i like very much.. just that now i am not sure if its the rite time to go into HD yet.. maybe wait for the coming Asia Broadcast n see how it goes..

Hi sundazz. The sample pictures I've seen from the HD111 are very nice. I was considering buying one last year, but could not get a good price for my XL2 and felt the cost was too ex for me at the time. Ended up buying a Canon XH-A1, but still think the HD111 is a good cam. The HD201 is even better cos it has 50p, but lagi expensive.
