Just starting in photography

Hi Everyone,
I am a newbie and had just started this hobby. I would like to know is there any beginner classes conducted in Singapore? I just return after 16 years away from Singapore. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to ClubSNAP (and welcome back to Singapore). I just had a look at our section for workshops and classes but there's nothing recent there.Basically there are two types of classes: equipment and photography.
The equipment classes are held by the camera vendors, some are even for free once you buy a camera. These classes will only tell you how to operate the camera, where to find certain functions etc. That's all.
The photography classes are gear neutral, they only ask you to bring a camera that has Manual exposure mode. Here you learn phptpgraphy froom scratch: composition, story, exposure, metering and all the other details that make a good picture and where the camera type and model is (nearly) irrelevant.feeding Google with 'photography classes singapore' gave this list of results.
