Dear all:

Just bought a Canon FS100 from M S color at AMK hub.Price wise is ok, but find something strange and would like to hear experienced buyers' opinions:

1) Canon BOX is not sealed (i.e, no sticker or tapes to seal the box)
2) Inside, got English, Frech, Deutsch, Italiano instruction manual also there is a European Warranty System booklet- could be this set a refurbished or meant for exporting to Europe?
3) last thing is the gifts Canon offers (one BP808 battery, 8G kingston Card, SD card reader and a Canon pouch). I didn't opt to redeem myself hence the salesman said i can collect the gifts which they already redeemed for customer. - I am not sure how this could be done but easily believed him and took the gifts home..when I reached home, i realised that the extra battery should've been in a package, right? but the one i got is no package (i.e., he just passed to me the battery without any package alone to me at the shop) - also one of the battery has UL listed logo at the back while the other one didn't have (guess one for Europe/Asia, the other is for other countries Can't remember which one is the gift though.but does it matter?) I think he just gave me one battery from the display set's box.

how do you all think? could this set be a refurbished one or a display set or the dealer have done something fishy?

Many Thanks to all!

I did buy a Canon FS100 from SLS. I had to go down to Canon Service Centre at harbor front to collect the gifts, All the gifts in original sealed packing. The video camera box was not sealed but I checked all items to be in good functional and physical condition,

Not sealed (or broken seal) and NO seal is different.

From my multiple buying experience (I bought 7 Canon camera in the last 5 years :bsmilie:) I never come across that the box came sealed. Do you mean the international warranty piece of paper? I have came across a few in my purchase so I think is normal. Is for tourist I guess :)
