went after work to take a look... it's crowded!!!! ended up shooting from second floor. Images are generally cropped about 55% and heavily processed. Tried out Kenko 1.4x+70-200F4L+B300 for 3rd to 5th shots. 2nd shot was using the Kenko 1.4x+70-200F4L.

Enticing poster....

the people just keep coming ;p there're a number of clubsnappers snapping there too.... some of them (at the left of the stage) are at least half as near to Jolin than me and should be able to get much better shots.

heng ah nv go.... else kena stampede... :bsmilie:

Sighz... I was at the left side of the stage... could not get a single decent shot as all the people in front were just holding their cams/phones/posters/video cam/what-have-you up and did a wonderful job of blocking me

Lessons learnt: Either

1. Get a ladder or
2. Just enjoy the show :D

aiyah, wasted. thought your setup with monopod should be tall enough. I was originally on the right side but migrated to 2nd floor after people started stepping up on the fence. there's also a tall guy videoing in my line of sight to the stage :dunno:

she looks quite old and haggard today...probably because of jetlag and tummy ache as the compere said..

she look er... so un jolin

decided to bring a foldable chair tml
haha
add an extra 30cm to my height

sure kena cursed by those behind me

hopefully she recovered by the time she reached Hereen ;p

Today, they fenced up the area in front of the stage for buyers of her albums. Think they would do the same for tomorrow.

wha u r using a L lens but yet ur picture came out not so good...must be shooting from very very far...was thinking to go there for some shoots with my sigma 70-300...Luckily did not, dun think I can get a good shot :p

Anyway her hairdo sucks....but still a beauty to me..if she is my gf i will "hao hao zhuo ren"..keke

was shooting handheld at ISO800 and had underexposed pics (shutter speed kept at 1/200s to prevent shake, aperture wide open and flash firing at full manual). hence pic is very noisy when "levelled" and color corrected. the noise reduction program also reduced some details from the pics.

if you get into a good position, sigma 70-300 would do the job nicely :) if I were there a few hours earlier, the pics could be much better ;p ... pics could also be improved if I use a monopod and shoot at slower shutter speeds and ISO400, instead of shooting over the heads of others....
