ESPN & SkyWalker, I need to know your IE 6 build no.
In IE, click on Help->About Internet Explorer

Pls give me the build no. from there. Also if you haven't already done so, please update your IE 6 to the latest available version. I haven't had reports of similar errors from other IE 6 users.

Hi Edmund,

IE 6.0.2800.1106, hope that helps.

At the time of my start of this thread, all patches/SPs have already been applied.

Cheers.

using Mozilla ... no problem at all :D

Version: 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

Hmmm.. that is odd, even I have the same version and build (and same OS as SkyWalker) but do not see the probs you pple are seeing....

Does this happen only when you are trying to create new threads?
Can you pls
- describe what you were trying to do (in steps) when you get the error msgs.
- let me know if its possible to consistently recreate the steps that lead to the error msgs

Hi Edmund,

I only load the pages and I get that error on my office machine.

At home on my laptop XP Pro SP1 + IE6 and my other PC Win2K SP4 + IE 5.5 SP2, I don't get this error.

Cheers.

Same problem as espn.
Get the error when loading the pages.
It happened on my office pc, home pc is ok.

Problem arise after clubsnap went on new look.
The only difference on the PCs is the Sun Java Plugin.
Office version is 1.3.X
Home version is 1.4.x

What do you mean by "I only load the pages..."? Do you mean any page on ClubSNAP gives you that error msg?

Unfortunately, I am unable to help you guys further since I am unable to reproduce your probs. Hmmm... in any case, are you guys running Zone Alarm or something like that in your office machines? If you are, take a look at

Hi Edmund,

as in as the pages load finish, the little exclaimation mark on the status bar will appear and mention the JS error as I first started off the thread. And yes, it's any page.

Nope, no firewall settings.

Cheers.

No zone alarm or XP firewall.

Anyway, I had turned on the "Disable Script Debugging" to avoid this problem for my office pc.

Hmm... sorry, since I can't reproduce your problems, I am unable to test any further. Hope you can disable script debugging in your office for now.

Hi Edmund,

No worries, it was just a note to inform you there's an issue. Since only two complains are heard so far, I deduce it should be a User problem over system problem.

Cheers.
