Jane's Cake Station

Wondering if anyone has ordered cakes from Jane's Cake Station? It's quite far away, at Jln Kayu.

I thot of ordering a cake for my nephew's bday this Saturday. Heard that their chocolate fudge and durian cakes are the best. What's your recommendation? ;p

You can try ordering from Lana Cake shop, It is behind the telecom building along bukit timah road.

Directions:
Turn in at the road right beside the Telecom building, go straight until you hit the Y-junction. Go left and its one of the last shops at end of the row of shophouses. Have to order early. Very popular and limited numbers per day.

I had been buying cakes from Lana for more than 25 years, and Jane for more than 15 years.

I still like Lana's chocolate cakes very much.

I used to buy a lot of Jane's durian cakes, before Jane moved from Serangoon to Jalan Kayu. Sometimes I even ordered in bulk to have them delivered to me! In my opinion then, hers was the best. And nothing from Goodwood can even come close.

But lately I have been disappointed with Jane's durian cakes. They used to have a thick layer of durian mousse. But now that layer seems to be filled with cream.

I have since stopped eating durian cakes. I just do not find any durian cakes made in Singapore that is acceptable to my standard.

Never tried Jane`s before. Serangoon and Jln Kayu not really places I find time to explore before.

Hahah for 25 years? then I might have seen you before at Lana`s, been a regular visitor there until I started staying overseas quite often :bsmilie: Previous stop was tekong lol

I have no idea where Jane came from. I have never seen her!

She tried to seduce me with free cakes (whole! - you can guess how much I was buying!) to get me interested in the others. But I was never interested in these.
