im now currently in aussie
i saw in the harveynorman site that here got promotion and they selling a canon eos 400D kit @ 1248AUD(1488SGD) and a twin lens kit @ 1499AUD(1792SGD)
18-55 and 70-300mm i think.
i dun think they will also give other freebies
so you guys think its a good buy?

NO.
The 400D kit is about 1,500 here and with warranty.
Buy from Oz warranty not recognised by Canon Singapore.

The 75-300 telephoto is not great.

You want cheap without warranty, get from HK 15-20% less than here.
