Is it true that the Lumix G1 is also popular with Leica users?

For less than S$700 for a used set, it's god send for M mount lens users.

With adapters, this cameras can mount 1,000,001 lenses (well almost). Not only M mount, F mount, EF, ED, OM, MD, C, KR.... you name it...

As for sensor & image quality, all I can say is, it doesn't require IR filter.

this is taken with CV 15mm without uv/ir filer. Older version without rf coupling.

After using a Leica, I never look back.. Even my SLR that I always manage to take nice pics, too lazy to carry it out. Does not make sense to use high resolution lens on a half frame camera.. M9 is just too expansive now I am sure the price will come down.
