erm...think you mean GS400 rite? it is a good consumer level camera. However do note that it is only DV (really cannot compare with all the HD coming out nowadays). But if you expectation is on DV level...and you manage to find one with reasonable drum head runtime (do note that with time/usage DV tapes tends to get eaten up) and external condition is acceptable. Than why not? go for it!

Wow if you can score one at 750, it's a really good buy. Unless you have a fast computer with HDV, you're going to have to wait quite a while to encode everything, and the time it takes to convert to DVD.
