Hi,

Does anyone think that that lens can ever be built? :)

maybe for EF-S cameras so its cheaper~~~ and filter size need not be too big~~ 82mm?

hahahahah~~~ just a thought

they can create a 17-200 F1.8....Just that it will be so big no one wnats to carry it.
FYI, 4/3 system has a 14-50 ( 28-100) F2 comming up...

Actually, F1.8 is very difficult to shoot with cos the DOF is so small.

I rather have clean ISO up to 12800 clean....lol, then all the normal lens of 3.5-4.5 f stops are as good to use in low light conditions.

why would they build something like that when there is already a efs 17-55 f2.8 IS? or 16-35 f2.8L ?
and also.. the expected cost of the suggested lens? 2+k maybe?

IMO, f2.8 is ideal for most lens under normal lighting conditions..

:D
haha then i suppose that the camera body would be too big to carry around~~~
is the 18~200 f2 really coming out?
which company is making it?
i hope its not canon~~~ they will probably price it like SUPER EXPENSIVE~~~
