is it advsiable for a normal digital camera to be stored in a dry box?

since i've bought my consumer digital camera, do i need to store it in a dry box if not using or just inside a pouch will suffice?

Keeping it in a dry box will definitely be better. Anyhow, since you have already spent so much money on it, why save that few dollars compared to the price of a digicam?

Agreed, storing in the pouch may not be a wise move. Dry box better.

put in a air tight tupperware and a pack of silica gel.
the silica gel cost $4+ from any photo shop.
