IR photography on film?

Hi all senior shifus and uncles. Just wondering does anyone here still do IR photography on film? I realized that ruby was selling ilford infrared films and I was wondering If anyone had tried them out? Also, what kind of processes and chemicals must I use to develop IR film? Lastly, where can I find the illusive IR black filters? The usual haunts at funan don't seem to carry them. :dunno:

Ilford is using Pokin P007IR filter IIRC.
Not too sure about Ilford but you can check the spec sheet of the film.
The best IR film is by Kodak but they stopped production years ago.
Currently the next best is Efke IR820.
You can get the IR filter from any of the shops but it really depends on the cut off frequency.

Kai Feng, developing IR film is the same process as developing normal BW as IR films are basically panchromatic films + extended IR sensitivity. Currently available in the market is the Agfa IR 400 and the Efke 820. Both are excellent films as stated on several sources, but personally I can only back the claim on the Agfa. The following pictures are shot with the Agfa:
