Interesting TC website for Dimage series

Only the Olympus TCON-14B has no vignetting....
 

yah... looks like tht's the only model that does not vignette. But I've read in other forums/posts that the A200 does not vignette at full telephoto too. Too bad no pics too see. :cool:

A200 vignettes before 100mm.

How much does one cost normally? am interested, have as AP abt it, shown me one X2.0 cost ard $200, but did not do a full test with it. anyone bought one from AP?

B300 if you can find it and are willing to spend the $400 on it.
They frequently appear on Ebay and the price keeps rising.....

My research so far never mention about any 2x TC. He prolly showed you the one for video cam ...

Actually, they did. The B300 was still available in small quantities over a year back. The reason why it cannot be found now is that it's discontinued.
 

In that case i'll just stick with 7x and 2x digital. Sian ...

Do ask around before getting a "2x" one. Usually these are meant for video cameras, degrades image quality and perform less than speced.

Thanks for the advice...no wonder when i test it does not see much zoom in it...lucky never buy

But it is very big ... I tested out this configuration and find it un useable ... it is very heavy ... in fact I t hink it is heavier than the camera ... was afriad tht it would tear out the lens.
 

Where in Singapore have A200 ? ;(
 

went down to AP tosay and ask abt the teleconvertor for 7Hi, told me Olumpus C-180 can use. Its a 1.7x tele. its made of plastic and cost ard $85.

anyone here try this before?

Do they sell it ? Is the C180 discontinued ?
