instax film in japan?

i'll be going to tokyo on holiday this december and i'm looking to buy film for my instax mini camera in bulk (around 10 packs). anybody know where i can do so for cheap? thanks!

I cannot remember the name of the shops. However, I saw them at a few of those multi-storey "Daiso-like" shops all over tokyo and they were at about the same price. Comes up to about a dollar or slightly less per exposure. I believe its about $1.20/exposure in SG. Hope this helps.

Local price $16.50/- a box of 10 for the large size. Checked with my sis Jap colleague retails there at $22.10/-! (after conversion at current exchange rate) Yen is simply too strong...

can try yodobashi camera. last time i buy in bulk each exposure is $0.90. that time conversion was about S$1.50 for 100 yen.

You can try buying at Narita Airport Terminal 2 Departure Hall.
Its called Akihabara smtg smtg...
Bought the Brown Instax Mini 7s camera at 6000 yen which is less than 100SGD.
And 3 packs of films cost 1990 yen.
All are much cheaper than in SG.

I paid by cash when the exchange rate was abt 1SGD = 64 yen.
But since you're gg in Dec I guess you can try calling them when you're there.
