Inkee Benbox - the future of multicam livestream?

At first glance, the Inkee Benbox is another CineEye clone. A HDMI transmitter that sends video from any camera to up to 3 iOS or Androd devices.
What sets it apart from CineEye, is Inkee's desktop app for MacOS and Windows PC.
An emulation window of Inkee's video can used as a source in OBS. Unfortunately, it looks like the overlays cannot be disabled, forcing OBS users to crop into about 60% of the centre image.
If future firmware, allows for the disabling of the overlays, it means multicam switching can be done without cables, physical video mixers or encoders.
